Tun device problem

YJH
Hi everyone,
I'm trying to connect my network to my emulated CTCA, but it keeps failing !
I scanned this group's messages and found that there is quite a number of problems in this topic.
here is a description of mine :
I'm running Hercules 3.02 on Linux i686 2.6.8-24.16 (Suse distribution)
On startup, hercules' log shows :
.....
HHCCT073I 0020: TUN device tun0 opened
HHCCT006I hercifc: Doing SIOCSIFHWADDR on tun0
HHCCT006I hercifc: ioctl error doing SIOCSIFHWADDR on tun0: Operation not supported
.....
Any idea on how to get aroud this problem ?
thanX

Thanx.
So I did a little more research, and found some directions in msg 41979.
Now, I can reach my VM-TCP/IP from Linux-TCP/IP , and reverse .
But VM is still unreachable from another station in my home network,
and VM cannot go past my linux NIC.
